Dr. Kagan-Moore is a Professor of Dramatic Arts at Centre College, where he has taught since 1992. A teacher and artist for more than thirty years, he has directed or acted in nearly 75 productions, including professional, academic, and community theatre, opera, and film. He holds a B.S. from Oregon State University, an M.A. from Western Washington University, and a Ph.D. from the Ohio State University.
Mr. Carter, a Lexington native, recently finished a three-year run as Scar in the national Broadway tour of Disney's The Lion King. Prior to this, he performed in a national tour of The Three Musketeers and Macbeth with The Acting Company. Other significant credits include performances at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Westport Country Playhouse, Northern Stage, New Repertory Theatre, and the Fulton Opera House. Carter holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Brandeis University, and B.A. in Theatre and English from the University of Kentucky. He is a member of Actors' Equity Association.
Mr. Hallock is an Associate Professor of Dramatic Arts at Centre College where he has taught since 1997. In addition to his work for the college, he is a professional free-lance scenic and lighting designer whose work has been seen in the region at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (Intern Company), Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Lexington Children's Theatre, The Actors Guild of Lexington, and the Lexington Shakespeare Festival. Additionally he has designed for professional theatres in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Kansas City.
Ms. Hines-Ward currently serves as Centre College's Fine Arts Coordinator in Music and Drama. She has a BA in music from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, and has done extensive graduate work in Organizational Communications. Her less-than-traditional path to Arts Administration has included jobs in strategic educational planning for the Tennessee Valley Authority, program evaluation and surveys, social work, business, costume and exhibit design, as well as musical performance.
Ms. Dewey is the Director of Arts Education with the Danville Independent Schools in Danville, Kentucky. She has worked in theatre education and arts education in Kentucky for twelve years having previously worked in professional theatre. Jane serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Theatre Association and the Arts Commission of Danville/Boyle County. She also serves as a member of the Arts Advisory Committee for the Kentucky Board of Education and as a consultant for the Kentucky Peer Advisory Network.
